Full Time Bar Staff senior position
Experience vital - Applicant must have experience serving Food and Beverage
Duties and Responsibilities include (list not exhaustive):
· To ensure smooth running of the restaurant or bar and related areas while on duty and making provision for preparation while off duty.
· To serve food and drinks of the highest standard to the best of your best ability at all times. This includes being friendly, courteous and professional with customers creating a good impression of the property.
· To try to maximise all potential food and beverage sales.
· To liaise with all other departments in the property to ensure smooth running of your area and related departments while on and off duty.
· To report for work on time all the time, take pride in your appearance and personal hygiene, and always wear the correct uniform.
· To ensure customers are taken care of to the highest standards at all times ensuring they receive the correct food (hot if the food is to be served that way), correct drinks etc. All to be done in a quick efficient matter ensuring the customer is not waiting too long on food. This includes being friendly, courteous and professional with guests creating a good impression of the property.
· To co-ordinate the serving of food from the kitchen to the restaurant. No excuses will be accepted for food being left to go cold and being served to the customer cold.
· To ensure orders are put through the till system as soon as they have been taken.
· To ensure your till is kept in order counting it when you come on duty and balancing it at the end of the evening to count takings, placing them in the drop safe and putting the float back in the safe in the back office.
· To keep an eye on levels of stocks in the event of management being off advising this to the next manager in line so as an order can be placed to avoid a shortage.
· To ensure cash control, floats and safe balances are correct.
· To ensure cleanliness of your area and surrounding areas.
· To enjoy your place of work.
· Any other business.
Your employment is Full Time.
Your weekly hours of work amount to 40 hours per week
Because the industry is a 7 days week service, you are required to work shifts. Your daily shift and weekly days off will be indicated on your staff rota. This will include hours of work falling on public holidays and weekends. Occasionally you may be required to be flexible and hours may need to be adjusted to meet business needs. Where possible you will be notified in advance and all additional hours must be authorised by your Manager. You also may be required to work overtime depending on operational requirements and at the discretion of management.
While at work you must devote your full time solely to the affairs of the Company.
Your working hours will be in accordance with the main terms and conditions of employment.

Pay: €31,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
