The School of Engineering is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as an Assistant Lecturer in Electrical Trades. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Phase 4 and Phase 6 curricula in the Electrical apprenticeship program.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students enrolled in the Electrical Trades program
">
* Develop and implement curriculum materials that align with industry standards and requirements
">
* Mentor and support students in their academic and professional development
">
* Contribute to the development of assessment tools and evaluation methods

Required Qualifications:
">
">
* Primary Level 6 Advanced Certificate craft qualification in Electrical trades (or equivalent)
">
* At least three years relevant post-qualification experience in Electrical Trades
">
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
">
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
">
* Relevant teaching experience and/or certification in adult education
">
">
Desirable Qualifications:
">

* Honours Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (or equivalent)
">
* Appropriate IT skills, including MS Office and Solidworks/CAD
">
* Experience working with diverse student populations and ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet different learning needs
