Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Successful applicant will get one on one training with Electrician of over 30 years experience. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in electrical systems and installation work, providing a solid foundation for a career in the electrical trade. Applicants should possess a keen interest in electrical work and be committed to safety and quality standards.
Duties
* Assist qualified electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
* Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic electrical tasks under supervision
* Learn to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications
* Help with the organisation and preparation of materials needed for electrical installations
* Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all tasks
* Support the testing and inspection of electrical components to ensure compliance with regulations
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times
Skills
* Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
* Practical understanding of electrical principles and systems (nice-to-have)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different work environments
