Our client a leading services company within the construction industry based in West Dublin, is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team. This role will report to the CFO. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dedicated finance function that plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial operations and supporting the organisations continued success. Key Responsibilities Accurately process supplier invoices and ensure all records are maintained to a high standard. Reconcile and manage the purchase ledger, addressing any discrepancies promptly. Complete supplier account reconciliations and assist with regular payment runs. Support month-end close activities, including the preparation of reports and audit schedules. Provide assistance across the finance team with queries, projects, and general administrative tasks. Ideal Candidate Qualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). 4+ years experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar transactional finance role. Proficient with accounting software such as Sage or BrightBooks; and Excel is essential. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
