Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to oversee the weighbridge operational functions, encompassing site access control, waste acceptance and dispatch activity, and documentation completion in accordance with company procedures, EPA licence, and legislative requirements.
This position involves monitoring and controlling entry to the site by various entities, including lorries, vehicles, contractors, and the general public. All entries are recorded and directed to the appropriate locations or personnel as required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all waste and deliveries entering the site are accompanied by the necessary documents and have been previously approved for entry.
Accurate recording of all waste movement on and offsite is essential, along with administering related paperwork, including weighbridge dockets, electronic files, and folders.
This role also involves providing administration support for all wastes or products moving offsite, including docket generation, WTF generation, TFS paperwork, Excel updates, and other related tasks.
The incumbent will inspect incoming waste movements and accompanying documentation to ensure compliance with site licence requirements and advise management of any non-confirming waste or documentation.
Liaising with other staff and operations personnel is crucial to ensure prompt and effective resolution of compliance, traffic, delivery, waste movement issues, and customer queries.
Taking credit card payments and ensuring accurate weighbridge and waste data are also key responsibilities of this role.
