Role Overview:
The Agricultural Graduate position is a full-time permanent opportunity that involves a combination of administrative, procurement, and stores operative work. The ideal candidate will possess good IT skills and a hands-on approach.
Main Responsibilities & Activities:
* Stores Role: Receiving, inspecting, and storing deliveries; preparing, loading, and dispatching orders to customers; operating a forklift and teleporter to load and unload trucks; maintaining the store and yard in a safe, tidy, and proper condition.
* Purchasing Role: Collaborating with the purchasing manager on stock purchases and supply for twenty business units throughout Ireland.
* Stock System Maintenance Role: Ensuring stock control duties are carried out, and relevant information is kept up to date and live on the Stock Management System.
* Team Role: Being an integral member of a cohesive Materials Management team.
* Purchasing Duties: Liaising with managers and stores staff on material requirements, pricing, and product changes; issuing requests, quotes, and proposals for materials.
* Stock System Maintenance Duties: Recording transactions on the IT stock control system; generating purchase orders; maintaining and reconciling the Stock System and price database.
