You will support a Finance Business Partner in analysing performance, identifying opportunities to improve margin, and helping the business make better, more profitable decisions.If you are curious by nature, commercially minded, and motivated to progress your career in finance, this role will give you excellent exposure to a complex, fast-growing environment and a strong platform for future development.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial & Performance ReportingProduce and analyse sales, margin and customer performance reportsDesign, maintain and improve dashboards and KPIsProvide analytics and insights to Sales and Commercial leadershipManage customer and supplier reportingMargin & Profitability AnalysisIdentify opportunities to improve sales, margin and pricingMonitor margin improvement initiatives and price increasesReconcile margin, pricing, rebates and creditsPerform price/mix variance analysis and investigate discrepanciesOverheads & P&L SupportAssist with budgeting and forecasting of sales and marketing overheadsPrepare overhead sections of the P&LManage staff expenses, commissions and company car costsAccount for marketing income and perform balance sheet reconciliationsBalance Sheet & ControlsReconcile rebate and control accountsSupport clearance stock managementEnsure accuracy and integrity of commercial balance sheet itemsBusiness PartneringSupport customer profitability reviews and cost-to-serve analysisIdentify and help eliminate unprofitable business or processesContribute to management and sector meetings with clear insightsSupport new business analysis, tenders and forecastingDeliver finance support and training to non-finance stakeholdersAbout YouExperience & QualificationsStudying towards a recognised accountancy qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMAIATI Qualified1-3 years in a finance roleProven ability to translate data into clear actions or improvements
