Group Financial Accountant | Dublin 2 A Dublin-based hedge fund manager, regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland and ranked within the top 1% of hedge funds globally by Bloomberg, is hiring a Group Financial Accountant. The role sits in the Dublin office, which houses operations, legal and finance for the wider group, and reports to the Head of Finance with exposure to the MD, CEO and senior leadership. Main duties: Prepare quarterly management reporting at entity and consolidated level, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting analysis Manage group-wide accounts payable, cash management and reconciliations Manage intra-group billing and reconciliation of intra-group and multi-currency balances Act as main point of contact for fund administrator reporting queries Assist in preparing annual financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP Oversee Irish company compliance including CRO filings Assist with US and Irish tax compliance alongside external advisors tax-to-book reconciliations, VAT returns, provision of accounting data Support BVI and US regulatory reporting as required Contribute to systems and process-improvement initiatives, including automation of manual tasks (AI experience or willingness to learn a plus) The person: Big 4 trained accountant with 1-2 years' PQE in financial services Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical issues to finance and non-finance stakeholders Proactive, flexible and team-oriented with a continuous-improvement mindset Salary:€70k - €75k plus benefits.
