CNC Machinist Position
At a leading manufacturing facility, we are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to operate and maintain advanced machining systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating Machinery: Utilize expert-level skills in operating CNC machines to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
* Reading Technical Drawings: Accurately interpret technical drawings and CAD files from Cabinet Vision and Alphacam software packages.
* Programming Machines: Program CNC machines with precision to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.
* Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to guarantee finished components meet design specifications.
* Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine or programming issues in a timely manner.
* Work Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment that promotes productivity.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Operational Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating CNC machines in the woodworking industry.
* Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Cosmic 20 or earlier CNC controls, as well as experience with Cabinet Vision and Alphacam CAD/CAM software.
* Woodworking Knowledge: Solid understanding of woodworking processes and materials.
