We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing timely resolutions to technical issues, using available tools to investigate and troubleshoot problems, recording customer interactions, and collaborating with engineering and account management teams.
Main Responsibilities:
* Technical Issue Resolution: Work closely with customers to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
* Troubleshooting and Investigation: Use available tools to identify and diagnose technical issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
* Customer Interaction Management: Record and document customer interactions, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
* Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering and account management teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
* Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
* Operating System Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, as well as networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routers, switches).
* Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting, with the ability to create efficient and effective scripts.
