Role Description
Data Insights Specialist
As a Data Insights Specialist, you will be part of our Product Analytics department dedicated to delivering insight and innovation through data, analytics, engagement, and consultancy services to clients, colleagues, and carrier partners. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the delivery of high-value analytics projects using Aon's suite of analytical tools, including PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead high-value analytics projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop analytical capabilities that meet business needs.
* Develop and maintain expertise in new technologies introduced across Aon, participating in focused training and self-learning initiatives.
* Support the implementation of best practices in analytics, sharing knowledge, mentoring, and formal training.
* Participate in and contribute to Data Analyst Chapter forums and activities.
Requirements
* 2+ years' experience working in an analytics role or similar in the tech industry.
* Experience working in product teams with a focus on designing and developing analytical capabilities.
* Strong working knowledge of SQL and proficiency in interrogating databases such as AWS, Snowflake, SQL Server, Databricks, etc.
* Fluent presentation and communication skills, conveying technical analyses and information clearly and concisely to a wide variety of collaborators.
* Relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) in IT or Science with high analytical content (such as data analytics/statistics/computer science).
