DescriptionThe AppleCare Technologies team has an immediate opening for a Cross-Functional Quality Engineer to plan and lead cross-functional testing across complex AppleCare projects. You will be responsible for the planning, preparation, resourcing, execution management, issue resolution, and progress reporting of testing activities across business and technical groups on the project.Minimum Qualifications7+ years experience leading testing/QA, with emphasis on planning and managing cross-functional testingExperience with different testing methodologies and driving a quality mindsetExperience establishing QA program structure for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinating and delegating cross-project initiativesAbility to develop technical expertise and understanding of system interdependencies, and their impacts on testing plansExperience with system and/or software architecture modelsAbility to abstract technical details and effectively communicate to audiences at different levelsProficient at balancing multiple efforts at a timeExcellent listening, communication, leadership and presentation skillsAbility to develop and maintain relationships with internal partnersExemplify flexible thinking, curiosity, self-motivation, dedication to quality, focus on the details, and a positive perspectiveAbility to navigate through ambiguity to clarify objectives and execution plansStrong organisational and documentation skillsAbility to travel up to 10% of the timePreferred QualificationsSAP functional experience, and experience migrating from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 HANA is beneficialExperience with Sales and Logistics testing, as well as freight carriers or third-party logistics providers, is a plusQuality Assurance certification (ISTQB, ASQ, etc) and/or PMI certification is highly desirable
