This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to gain more experience in tax The Role Our client is seeking to hire a Tax Associate to join our tax team. This role offers exposure to a wide range of tax compliance and advisory projects in a fast-paced and professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in tax and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns Supporting the team in the preparation of VAT returns, RCT filings, and PAYE returns Conducting research on tax issues and drafting technical memos Liaising with Revenue and other stakeholders on behalf of clients Collaborating with audit and accounts teams to ensure accurate tax reporting Assisting in tax planning and advisory assignments as required Managing multiple deadlines and prioritising tasks effectively Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field (minimum 2.1) Strong interest in taxation Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and within a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ROS or tax software is an advantage Prior experience in a practice or finance role is desirable but not essential What We Offer Exposure to a broad mix of clients and tax assignments A collaborative and professional working environment Competitive salary and benefits Hybrid working model after probabtion Opportunity for career progression within the firm Central Dublin location with access to public transport and local amenities
