We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be a crucial member of the warehouse operations, responsible for efficiently handling, storing, and distributing products. Your role will involve using our ERP system to manage inventory, track shipments, and ensure accurate data entry.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Accurately input and update inventory data in the ERP system.
2. Track and manage orders, shipments, and inventory levels using the ERP system.
3. Generate reports and analyse data from the ERP system to support warehouse operations.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues promptly.
5. Receive, inspect, and put away incoming shipments accurately.
6. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standards.
7. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
8. Maintain organised and efficient storage of products within the warehouse.
9. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and effectively.
10. Ensure all incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards.
11. Report any damaged or defective items to the appropriate departments.
12. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory and data management.
14. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
15. Using company vehicles to deliver goods in certain circumstances.
16. Other Duties: Duties may be assigned from time to time in other areas of Operations.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience (1-2 years) in a warehouse environment, preferably with ERP system usage.
2. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
3. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
4. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and order processing.
5. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
6. Certifications:
7. Forklift certification is a plus.
8. Full driving license
