Automation & Digital Solutions Project Manager About the Company Our client is a growing engineering and technology services organisation delivering automation and digital solutions to life sciences and advanced manufacturing customers across Ireland and Europe. They combine strong technical capability with a local delivery presence, supporting clients both onsite and across the full project lifecycle. Position Overview We are seeking an Automation & Digital Solutions Project Manager based in Ireland to support the delivery of customer projects. This is a hybrid role, combining onsite presence at customer locations with flexible remote working. A key aspect of the role will involve building strong customer relationships and leading engineers embedded at client sites. The role may cover automation and/or digital solutions projects, depending on business needs and your experience. It is a delivery-focused position, including responsibility for execution of managed services contracts. You may also support international projects remotely, working with distributed teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Project & Service Delivery Act as the primary customer contact for day-to-day project execution Manage delivery activities including: Scheduling and planning Resource coordination Budget tracking Risk identification and escalation Lead and coordinate engineers and subcontractors supporting delivery Oversee work planning, prioritisation, and issue resolution Provide clear reporting (status updates, KPIs, performance tracking) to stakeholders Business Support Coordinate external service providers involved in project delivery Support recruitment and onboarding of technical personnel aligned to customer needs Qualifications & Experience Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline 6+ years experience in project management within: Automation Manufacturing Digital solutions IT/OT environments Proven experience managing: Customer-facing projects Onsite delivery teams Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall) PMP or equivalent certification preferred Experience with managed services or long-term contracts is advantageous Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills Technical Background (Desirable) Experience in one or more of the following: Industrial automation or control systems / MES Manufacturing software, digital platforms, and system integration IT/OT environments, cloud, or data architecture supporting operations Whats on Offer Opportunity to join a high-growth, high-performing delivery team in Ireland Strong customer engagement with visible project impact Hybrid working model with flexibility Competitive salary and benefits package Skills: Automation Project Manager Digital Manager
