Our client is a leading financial services firm with HQ based in Dublin City Centre. They have a new opening for an experienced compliance and risk professional to join their supplier due diligence and third-party risk management team. The role will sit within a procurement and governance function responsible for overseeing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining robust risk management practices across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end supplier due diligence process, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of third-party risks.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of risk assessments, due diligence findings, and remediation plans.
* Validate business responses to risk assessments, ensuring completeness and alignment with required risk controls.
* Support business stakeholders throughout the due diligence process, providing clear guidance on requirements and timelines.
* Oversee the timely closure of remediation actions and ensure risks are managed within defined tolerances.
* Collaborate with key internal teams to ensure a consistent and efficient approach to supplier onboarding and risk oversight.
* Identify and contribute to opportunities for process improvement and automation within the third-party risk framework.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management, compliance, or operational risk, preferably within the financial services sector.
* Understanding of third-party risk management (TPRM) and supplier due diligence frameworks in a regulated environment.
* Experience leading or supporting teams in supplier risk or governance roles.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different business areas and senior levels.
* Experience developing or enhancing governance frameworks or risk processes.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and manage change effectively.
