As an Aircraft Maintenance Planner, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the maintenance of a fleet of aircraft at Dublin Airport.
The ideal candidate will report to the Line Maintenance Manager and work closely with the Airworthiness Control Engineer in the Operations Control Centre.
About the Role:
1. Maintenance Planning: Review upcoming line schedule maintenance against relevant manuals to ensure all necessary parts, consumables, and equipment are added to the Work Order before commencing work.
2. Manual Access: Ensure that manual access is available (CMM, AMM, etc.) and notify CAMO if any issues arise.
3. Resource Allocation: Coordinate required manpower and NDT requirements (borescope, etc.) and feed back to the Planning Department to adjust task planning accordingly.
4. HIL Preparation: Review upcoming HILs against manuals for spares stock.
5. Inventory Management: Issue orders to move stock to maintain station stock levels.
6. Station Stock: Ensure items required to support HILs are present at the base.
7. Consumable Stock: Monitor station parts alert for consumable stock and adjust station requirements/move stock between bases as needed, notifying the Materials Department to replenish stock.
8. Manpower Optimization: Monitor manpower and man-hours to ensure sufficient resources to complete planned tasks.
Your Qualifications and Key Criteria:
* Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
* Able to quickly interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Component Maintenance Manuals, and Structural Repair Manuals.
* Demonstrated analytical skills.
* Able to work independently and make decisions.
* Proficiency in Office apps.
* AMOS proficiency is an asset.
* An enthusiastic and flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Fluent English written and spoken.
* Eligible to live and work in the EU.
* Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
* Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure, including a 5-year background check, or possess a current airside pass for the airport based in this position.
* EASA/UK CAA Part 66 Licence holder.
