Lead and manage the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) department across multiple construction projects.
Oversee the planning, design review, execution, and completion of all M&E works including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV systems.
Ensure integration of M&E systems with civil, structural, and architectural components.
Review and approve engineering drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Oversee tendering processes, contract negotiations, and subcontractor management.
Ensure all M&E works comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project managers, engineers, and site teams.
Monitor quality control and conduct site inspections and audits.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and final project handover of M&E systems.
Drive operational improvements and implement innovative engineering solutions.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of experience in M&E engineering within the construction industry.
At least 8 years of leadership or senior management experience.
Strong knowledge of construction regulations, building codes, and engineering standards.
Proven track record in managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.Professional engineering certification or relevant industry accreditation.
Experience with BIM, smart building systems, or sustainable construction technologies.
Experience working on commercial, industrial, or mixed-use developments.
