FRS Recruitment are now inviting applications for the role of QC Assistant - Agri on behalf of our Client who as a leading Irish Agri business that has built and maintained a reputation for quality, innovative processes and the latest nutritional research for over 40 years.
Based in Longford, this role will be suitable to candidates with an agri/science qualification looking to further their career within the agri sector.
Week: Monday - Friday Hours: Hour Week) Roles and responsibilities * Perform quality control checks on every bulk load of RM entering the.
* Ensure that all quality control intake procedures are correctly adhered to.
* Development and maintenance of a full up to date driver training programme covering all necessary areas.
* Provide assistance and ad-hoc training to drivers where necessary.
* Daily checking of all RM bulk inspection logs & samples.
* Perform quality control checks on loads of finished feeds leaving the site.
* Daily checking of finished feed samples.
* Daily checking of RM & finished feed quality in coarse shed storage bays.
* Ensuring all intake sampling and testing equipment is in good working order with service records maintained.
* Maintenance of approved hauliers and supplier records.
* Complete checks on Checksolo daily.
* Aid in development of all Feed Quality Procedures.
* Maintenance of medicated feed licence requirements * Maintenance of Organics licence Requirements * Assist in the management of Health & Safety and Biosecurity on site.
* Occasional Lab testing of RM and finished feed products.
* Aid in the management of EPA requirements, and complete checks in relation to this.
* Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in their duties.
* You will be expected to occasionally vary your hours to spot check loads coming on site outside normal hours.
