This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in finance operations, technology solutioning, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to streamline processes, reduce costs, and deliver measurable business value while collaborating closely with leadership to execute the team's vision.Strategic Leadership & TransformationSupport enterprise-wide finance technology transformation initiatives that align with organizational strategic goalsCollaborate with executive leadership and the Controllership Operations team to identify opportunities for technology-enabled process improvementsContribute to change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processesHelp execute the technology roadmap for the Controllership and broader Finance organizationTechnology Innovation & ImplementationEvaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge technologies including Agents, AI/ML, automation tools, and advanced analytics platformsManage and deliver technology projects that improve efficiency, compliance, accuracy, and operational insightsContribute to innovation programs that encourage experimentation and adoption of emerging technologiesProvide insights and recommendations to senior finance leadership on technology strategy and process enhancement opportunitiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentManage and mentor team members and project workstreamsFoster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and professional growthWork effectively across stakeholder environments and competing prioritiesDevelop capabilities in emerging technologies and modern solutioning practicesProcess Optimisation & ComplianceDesign and implement finance process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase operational effectivenessEnsure all technology solutions maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal control requirementsEstablish frameworks for internal controls and global policy compliancePartner with Internal Audit, SOX, and compliance teams to support audit readinessStakeholder Management & CommunicationEngage effectively with C-suite executives and senior leadership to communicate technology solutions and project outcomesPresent complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in clear, compelling waysFacilitate customer demonstrations and industry presentations showcasing innovative solutionsBuild strong cross-functional relationships across Finance, IT, and operationRequired QualificationsExperience10+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, technology delivery, or related fields3+ years in a leadership or senior individual contributor role managing technology projects or initiativesProven track record of successfully delivering technology projects on time and within budgetExperience working in global organizations with distributed teams across multiple regionsFluent in prototyping AI solutions, testing machine learning models, and wrangling small/medium sized datasetsExperience with Salesforce (Agents, Tableau, Slack, Einstein, Data Cloud, etc.)Experience with SnowflakeTechnical ExpertiseDeep understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirementsHands-on experience with AI/ML technologies and practical application to business problemsHands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or similar), Python, and modern ERP systemsExperience with cloud data platforms such as SnowflakeStrong knowledge of Salesforce platform and custom application developmentSkills & CompetenciesExceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAnalytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insightsOutstanding communication and executive presenceDemonstrated ability to influence and drive organizational changeStrong project management and execution capabilitiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferredProfessional certifications such as CPA, or relevant technology certificationsExperience presenting at industry conferences or forumsTrack record of early adoption and successful implementation of emerging technologiesPrevious experience in SaaS, technology, or fast-paced growth companiesWhat Success Looks LikeDelivery of measurable ROI through technology implementations (cost savings, efficiency gains, error reduction)Successful adoption of new technologies and processes across the finance organizationDevelopment of scalable solutions that support organizational growthRecognition as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadershipBuilding a high-performing team culture of innovation and continuous improvementUnleash Your PotentialWhen you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
