Our regulated SaaS platform serves the US healthcare market, with a strong focus on security, privacy, and compliance.We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, secure, and operate our GCP-based cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for an engineer currently working in AWS who is open to transition into Google Cloud, while applying their existing cloud expertise in a highly regulated, impactful healthcare environment.You will help ensure our platform is scalable, reliable, and compliant with HIPAA and FDA requirements, building modern infrastructure and automation practices on GCP.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform (GKE, IAM, VPC, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage)Operate and secure Kubernetes environments (GKE)Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines with integrated security and compliance controlsManage IAM, identity, access control, and audit logging across systemsImplement monitoring, alerting, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, GCP Monitoring)Support compliance requirements, incident response, and disaster recovery processesOptimise performance, reliability, and cloud cost efficiencyRequirementsProven experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering rolesStrong hands-on experience with GCP or AWS(or similar cloud platforms) and KubernetesExperience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD preferred)Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance-driven environmentsExperience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalentProficiency in Python or similar scripting/automationDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Interest in or experience transitioning from AWS to GCP is highly desirableWhat’s on offerThis is a rare opportunity to move from AWS into a GCP-first platform while working in a mission-driven healthcare environment.
