Mobile Electrician (South Dublin) with van
Pay: €50,000 – €52,000 negotiable per year plus van, pension, healthcare
Reporting to Facilities Manager
Key Accountabilities:
* To carry out reactive and preventative maintenance.
* To ensure correct and effective system operation of electrical and control systems on the client sites.
* To liaise and communicate as needed with end users/customers.
* To specify and order supplies or materials as needed.
* Complete all site lighting repairs and replacements.
* To monitor and respond to BMS alarms.
* Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencement.
* To complete small projects.
* Ensure documentation of work activities.
* To update and utilise site CMMS systems for recording of work activities.
* Assist in keeping buildings and work areas or storage areas clean and tidy.
* Assist with the direct supervision of vendors/contractors on site to ensure a comprehensive Contractor Management System.
* To be flexible and adaptable to new working methods, practises, plant, equipment or procedures.
* To maintain electrical and control systems, plant and work equipment in good order.
* The post holder will follow safe systems of work, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others.
* Ensure Customer Service standards are world class.
* Candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a growing team. They must be capable and willing to undertake additional technical service duties as the need/demand requires.
* To adopt a professional attitude and approach to work.
* The role requires an individual with a customer‑focused proactive attitude and technical strengths, combined with an ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Additional Information
There is an on‑call requirement 1 in 7 weeks which is an additional €100 payment and a minimum call‑out payment of 4 hours pay at 1.5 times up to 12am and 2 times after 12am regardless of the length of call. There is scope for overtime during the year as well.
