Job Overview: We seek an experienced Project Manager to oversee key initiatives and support business growth.

* Create and implement development projects across various sites, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
* Develop and manage capital expenditure proposals, collaborating with the finance team for approval.
* Apply proven project management methodologies to ensure successful execution, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, KPI measurement, and reporting.
* Define resource requirements internally and externally, writing project plans, timelines, and associated communication documents for distribution among the project team and senior management.
* Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring all aspects of the project meet agreed requirements. A proactive approach is necessary in overseeing multi-project implementation, progress on deliverables, and delivering value within budget constraints.
* Monitor project work for compliance to applicable codes, standards, and engineering practices, safety, and environmental considerations.
* Manage multi-disciplinary functional relationships involving design, planning, civils, facilities, utilities, farms/mills, process technologies, environmental, and problem-solving capabilities. Lead communication, meetings, reports/presentations, and KPI delivery to ensure projects are completed to specification, on time, and within budget.
* Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines, including external authorities, regulatory bodies, and other project participants.
* Active involvement in procurement and technology/material sourcing to deliver fit-for-purpose capability at competitive value.
* Support strategic business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for growth and improvement through effective project management. Create and manage a dashboard to provide visibility across all projects, focusing on resource management and cost.
* Assess and enhance existing project management processes and practices, creating an improvement and change plan.
* Act as a champion for project management skills, ensuring lean initiatives and projects utilize project management approaches.
* Mentor managers in project management techniques.

Key Requirements: University degree, preferably in Engineering, with a Project Management qualification. Experience in the Food/Agriculture sector is essential. At least 10 years of work experience, with 4 years in project management, in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Development, construction, or similar. Ability to interact and operate at CEO and board level. Strong record of project delivery, with a portfolio of projects completed demonstrating each stage of the process, time, quality, and costs controls. Strong knowledge and experience of using project management software. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, managing diverse people and stakeholders with conflicting objectives. Analytical and problem-solving capabilities are required, along with strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
