Medforce are currently hiring an Occupational Therapist for a dynamic, patient-centered Primary Care Team in Sligo Town.
As an Occupational Therapist within our client’s Primary Care Team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults of all ages to live independently and participate fully in everyday life. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work as part of a well-established, supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and support clients with a wide range of needs including physical, sensory, and cognitive difficulties.
* Develop and implement individualised intervention plans.
* Provide home visits, where necessary, to assess environmental needs and facilitate adaptations.
* Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to promote health and well-being.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE guidelines.
Essential Requirements:
* CORU Registration.
* Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Full driver’s licence and access to own transport (essential for community visits).
Desirable:
* Experience working in a primary care or community setting.
