Senior Case Manager Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Case Manager to join our Galway-based team. As a key member of our portfolio management team, you will be responsible for delivering practical outcomes through tailored restructuring and settlement arrangements with an emphasis on compliance and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively manage a portfolio of commercial and property-based connections to ensure timely and effective resolution of cases.
* Meet and engage with borrowers to negotiate viable repayment or settlement strategies that meet the needs of both parties.
* Conduct thorough financial reviews and prepare detailed credit submissions and recommendations to inform business decisions.
* Oversee cases through various strategies including litigation, where appropriate, to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Attend operational reviews and contribute to strategic planning on portfolio matters to drive business growth and improvement.
* Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure accuracy of all data and records, and submit regular reports on case progression and outcomes.
Requirements:
* Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) or equivalent qualification.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial debt management, restructuring, or workout, preferably in a similar role.
* A strong commercial mindset and proven negotiation ability, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced Excel skills, including vlookups, pivot tables, and dashboards, as well as PowerPoint skills for reporting and presentation.
