Responsibilities
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms and emergencies, contain and resolve situations while minimising risk.
Surveillance Monitoring:
Monitor cameras and alarm systems, investigate suspicious activity.
Patrol and Inspection:
Conduct regular patrols, enforce security policies, inspect for vulnerabilities.
Access Control:
Manage entry to restricted areas, verify ID, issue badges and keys.
Reporting:
Document incidents and actions in accurate reports.
Collaboration with security staff, law enforcement, emergency responders and stakeholders.
Training:
Participate in training to enhance knowledge of security procedures.
Parking Management:
Oversee parking permits, visitor parking, vendor traffic flow.
Admin Tasks:
Monitor security email, manage lost property, provide support during events, escort requests.
Other duties: screen mail and packages using X-ray, perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security, law enforcement or related field (preferred).
Physical fitness – able to perform essential duties; CPR/first aid may be required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Team player – work collaboratively and independently.
Integrity – uphold ethical standards, confidentiality.
Minimum Requirements
Excellent oral and written communication.
PSA licence desirable (course and licence provided).
Fully flexible working hours.

Good computer skills.
Control room experience preferable.
