Geographic Legal Counsel Manager
Location: Dublin – On-site 2 Days per week (Tuesday & Thursday)
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Legal Counsel to take on a dual-function role, providing broad in-house legal support across compliance, data protection, IP, employment law, and commercial contracting.
Core Responsibilities
Provide commercial and intellectual property guidance during leadership and governance meetings.
Attend in-person meetings twice weekly to advise teams on active and upcoming projects.
Act as the legal project manager for client deals.
Review master service agreements and related commercial documents.
Review prototypes, assets, and materials for compliance, IP, commercial, and privacy considerations in collaboration with innovation-focused legal teams.
Advise on data strategy, IP structuring, risk management, and compliance from project inception.
Liaise with global tax specialists as required to ensure alignment on project structures.
Provide local legal support on compliance matters across the business and internal corporate functions.
Provide legal guidance to internal teams on data privacy issues and support review requests from privacy and information security teams.
Responsible for preparing mandatory lobbying returns, coordinating with senior leadership and government relations colleagues.
Key Skills & Experience
8–10 years PQE with in-house experience preferred
Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks
Strong knowledge of data protection and privacy
Strong knowledge of contract negotiation and management
Strong knowledge of the general Irish legal and regulatory environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
Comfortable leading projects and acting as a key point of legal contact
