As a Maintenance Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring aircraft technical defects, ensuring maintenance and operational requirements are met, and maintaining the highest standards of Airworthiness, fleet reliability, and serviceability. This role involves:
* Supporting the Line Maintenance operation to maintain a serviceable fleet
* Assisting in the efficient rectification of aircraft defects
* Coordinating and assisting in the recovery and repair of AOG aircraft, supporting all aspects of returning an aircraft to service
* Communicating continuously with flight crews to understand reported technical defects
* E nsuring fleet aircraft are based in locations that meet operational and engineering needs
* Liaising with the Operations Department to prioritize flight operational requirements
* Monitoring aircraft Hold Item Lists (HIL), Deferred Defects (DD), and Minimum Equipment List (MEL) defects to ensure timely rectification
* Participating in ad hoc project work as requested by the Engineering management team
