Catering Equipment Service Technician - Southern Region
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Equipment Service Technician to deliver top-quality service in our team of professionals who take pride in their work.
The role will cover the southern region, including Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford, Laois, and Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide ongoing support to the Service Manager to maintain catering equipment for the southern region.
* Repair and upkeep all equipment on an ongoing basis, ensuring company policies are met at all times.
* Travel and respond to breakdown emergencies as needed.
Requirements:
* Suitable qualifications with a minimum of 3 years' experience in catering equipment servicing and maintenance.
* Good working knowledge of catering equipment, with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
* Responsibilities include stock control and ordering parts.
Additional Skills:
* Troubleshooting and problem-solving of catering equipment.
* Maintaining, operating, and repairing relevant equipment.
* Performing routine and preventive maintenance.
* Inspecting equipment for wear and damage, performing minor repairs and adjustments.
* Maintaining inventories, storing, retrieving, and assembling/disassembling equipment.
* Holding a full, clean driving license.
* Being flexible to work on various catering equipment.
* Collaborating with the Service Manager and Store Managers to maintain high standards.
* Building positive relationships with management and staff, motivating through personal contact.
* Demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude.
* Knowledge of catering equipment such as ice cream and milkshake machines, fryers, grills, pizza ovens, hot counters, ovens, dishwashers, toasters, and refrigeration systems is an advantage.
