Assistant Financial Controller Role
About the Position:
This is a key finance role within our organization, requiring a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Financial Controller to lead the accounting teams and manage financial operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management of accounts Payable/Treasury/Payroll/General Ledger Accounting Teams
* Weekly and monthly cashflow management
* Preparation and review of all general ledger accounting at month end
* Intercompany Reconciliations, monthly management of intercompany matrix and agree intercompany balances with other companies within the group
* Preparation of the monthly management accounts and monthly reporting to Group
* Review of monthly Balance Sheet accounts
* Assist in Statutory Compliance (Accounting and Tax)
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* 7 years' PQE
* Previous management experience of a small team essential. Ideally including transactional finance personnel management.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to check accuracy of own work.
* Ability to priorities time correctly and provide clear direction to team members.
* Experience using an integrated ERP system, IFS experience desirable.
* Strong computer skills, especially Advanced Excel.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
