Allianz Trade is seeking a Credit Underwriter to join our Dublin-based Credit Underwriting team.
Reporting to the Assistant Head of Credit Underwriting, your responsibilities will include ensuring effective credit limit services through quality decision-making, timely responses, and clear customer communication.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and implement the Risk Business Model by making prompt limit decisions and maintaining high-quality communication within service standards.Assess credit limits accurately and efficiently to meet renewal, new business targets, and control loss ratios.Provide proactive service to a dedicated customer portfolio based on PH classification.Manage risks in line with Group Quality Standards to keep loss ratios within budget.Regularly review and improve business procedures to reduce costs and enhance customer service.Engage with clients, buyers, and brokers to minimize loss ratios, maximize coverage, and achieve renewal and new business goals.Support the commercial team in managing customer loss ratios and implementing profitability strategies.Qualifications and Skills: Market Knowledge: Understanding of Allianz Trade UKIE and Group products and services.Business Expertise: Knowledge of credit and financial products.Experience in client or account management.Technical Skills: Strong assessment skills in business and finance.Familiarity with Allianz Trade underwriting standards.Knowledge of export underwriting, risk assessment, export finance, political risk, and credit management (if applicable).Proficient with LBU IT systems.Commercially aware.Interpersonal Skills: Effective communicator.Credible with customers and stakeholders.Strong relationship-building skills.Problem-solving abilities.What We Offer: Life assuranceHealth cash planEmployee Share Incentive PlanDiscounts on Car and Home Insurance through Allianz PartnershipAnd much more!We ask candidates to share current and expected compensation to ensure role alignment.
