WHY THIS ROLE EXISTSThis role is responsible for providing technical knowledge on our Environment & Energy monitoring solutions and forming a key part of the sales process in developing long-term relationships with the customer base.As a provider of technical products, this role supports new sales opportunities and carries these through from inquiry stage through to order. In addition, where required, the role includes on-site support for the products from commissioning to product training. The key agencies that this role will be responsible for are Invisible Systems & Mirrhia. Tasks & Responsibilities Execute Sales Action Plans & strategies for growth with the environmental and energy monitoring product portfolio.To expand our existing strong base of qualified EMS solutions into site wide server/cloud monitoring systems in the Life Sciences sectorTo grow our business in Lab Conditions & Environmental monitoring, offering both standard and validated solutionsTo develop opportunities for Energy monitoring applications across all manufacturing sectors & commercial test labs.To work in a collaborative manner and engage with other members of the Industrial Sales team to help develop opportunities across the full Industrial portfolioManage new sales inquiries from quotation stage through to sale.Expand opportunities within existing customer base for new sales.Monitor existing customer installations to improve customer satisfaction, maintain customer relationships and identify other opportunities.Provide ongoing technical support for product portfolio.Use appropriate sales pipeline management tools consistently and effectively to support sales goals.Maintain clear and up to date calendar and call plans.Develop market plan, taking account of product life cycle, market trends and maturity.Manage and develop supplier relationships, to include responsibility for meeting annual performance targets.Develop solid knowledge of the market including competitors, customers, and suppliers.Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to the company.Support the Marketing team in providing technical & application-based knowledge on products for campaigns and identify suitable exhibitions/conferences to attend for promotion of product portfolio.Skills/Experience Required.Hands on experience with environmental monitoring technologies. Ideally field experience deploying and maintaining sensors measuring air and water quality, water quality or energy usage within industrial or consultative settings. Understanding of energy systemsProven ability to guide clients from discovery through implementation, emphasizing ROI and tangible benefits. Third level qualification or relevant Apprenticeship.MS Office (word, excel and power point)Comfortable delivering presentations, demos and advanced technical discussions to stakeholder including engineers, operations and management.
