We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Cleaning Operative. As a key member of our public area maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of streets and parks within the Belfast area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Clean and maintain public areas, including streets and parks

* Oversee waste management facilities

* Collect rubbish and recycling, separate waste, and dispose of both general and hazardous waste

* Remove graffiti, gum, and posters

* Operate hand and power tools

* Carry out cultural operations, such as planting shrubs and plants

* Remove debris from public areas

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 6 months' previous experience cleaning outdoor areas. You must also have awareness of health and safety regulations, including experience operating equipment and manual handling. Previous experience interacting with members of the public is highly desirable.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and reliability. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. The hourly rate for this role is £13.05.
