Reperio has partnered with a software company seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join their high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, analytics platforms, and infrastructure. You will lead a talented team of data engineers and collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product stakeholders to ensure data is a strategic asset across the business.
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership or senior role.
* Expert knowledge of SQL and programming languages like Python or Scala.
* Proven experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery).
* Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, and CI/CD for data pipelines).
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
* Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink).
* Knowledge of Data governance and security frameworks.
