The tax practice is organised into five client service teams - Domestic and International outbound (DIO), Financial Services (FS), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI

and Specialist Tax Services (STS
) .

Which role is available?
We are
seeking
to hire a full time, permanent
Personal
Tax Director to join our leading tax practice. You would be joining a team of tax professionals focussed on delivering high quality
personal
tax compliance services. As a
Director
you will support the existing team in building compliance business for the firm, leading and delivering compliance services and developing and managing teams.
What does this role offer?
This role is
located
at our Kilkenny office.
As Director, you will play a key role in the ongoing operation and coordination of our compliance business with an emphasis on providing high quality corporate tax compliance services, relationship
management
and process excellence.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Lead and manage a challenging,
evolving
and varied client portfolio for
personal
tax compliance.
* Assist
with the management and delivery of compliance services to ensure
optimal
resource scheduling and process efficiency that exploits current technologies to maximum potential.
* Contribute to the strategic agenda for the future of our
personal
tax compliance services.
* Proactive management of a portfolio of clients including financial and risk management.
* Embrace the digital evolution in our business to drive process excellence through continuous improvement,
leveraging
latest tools/digital automation.
* Motivate
the
team to perform at their best, make a difference and deliver results, while providing mentorship and guidance allowing them to stretch to their full potential.
* Work on attracting,
developing
and
retaining
the best talents for the firm.
* Contribute to business development and proposals for new compliance business
* Bring business knowledge,
innovation
and insight to create value for clients and the firm.

Who are we looking for?
* You are AITI / CTA qualified (or equivalent).
* You have at least 10 years' tax experience.
* You have strong leadership skills and a proven record in building a team with the capacity and capability to deliver.
* You have excellent delegation skills and the ability to manage and develop junior members of the team.
* Your organisation and planning capabilities are strong, and you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* You have excellent business development and relationship management skills, while still
maintaining
the ability to take direction from Tax Partners and clients.
* You have a strong commercial awareness.
