Your new role As a buyer, you will play a key role within the purchasing team, managing the full material supply chain process. Your responsibilities will include material planning, purchasing, supplier management, and ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials to meet production and customer requirements. This role demands a strategic and analytical thinker with a strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, ideally including JDE and iPlanner. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need a third-level qualification in business, supply chain, or a related discipline, along with a Lean qualification. You should bring at least five years of experience in a purchasing role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly JDE and iPlanner, is essential, as are advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. You should also have a proven track record in managing inventory targets, supplier relationships, and inbound logistics. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are key.
