Group Head of Sales and MarketingJob Title:Group Head of Sales and MarketingReporting To:CEOJob PurposeAs a part of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will be responsible for:1.Overseeing Sales and Marketing of this Hotel Group and all Hotel brands within the group across Ireland and Spain.2.This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.This role requires a strong blend of leadership, creativity, and analytical skills to effectively promote the Hotel Group.Key ResponsibilitiesSalesResponsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies for growth by:Develop, implement and monitor the annual Sales and Marketing plan for the groupLeading a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve revenue and occupancy targetsCollaborating closely with the hotel's management team to ensure an exceptional guest experienceLeverage the Hotels brand, and work with each hotel to maximise all revenue opportunities from existing accounts through strategic planning and effective account managementWork with all the internal teams at Group level and GM’s to deliver budgeted room sales in key segmentsIdentifying market threats, pressures and opportunities, ensuring sales activities reflect these, and advising senior management of this market informationPromote and represent the hotel group professionally and effectively in the domestic and overseas markets through a range of B2B and B2C eventsMarketingTo promote the groups identity in all markets by:Marketing Plan to design and direct the implementation of online and offline marketing initiatives and activities to support the hotel revenue objectives, in all rooms and segments, and in all outlets. Track return on investment vs KPIs and amend activity to meet the groups budgetary objectivesHotel website strategy and management of the website function and directing the marketing team to manage the Groups brand website content, e-marketing, SEO, and PPC strategyManage and enhance the social media strategy for the groupDeveloping and executing innovative marketing strategies to position the hotels as premier destinations for both leisure and business guestsWork with each hotel to enhance each hotel brand within our group in a consistent mannerLead the management and planning of offline marketing & PR opportunities (self-generated in-house and agency) and projects, as per business requirements.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related fieldProven experience as a Head of Sales & Marketing in the hospitality industry or customer/guest facing industry, preferably in a group roleStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse teamExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsSolid understanding of market research and data analysis methodsProficiency in CRM software and digital marketing toolsCreative thinker with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines#LI-DAC
