Purpose of the role
The Practice Manager will lead the Bray clinic, ensuring smooth operations, excellent patient experience, and strong financial performance.
This role is pivotal in establishing the practice's culture and success from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate dentists, nurses, and front-of-house staff.
Operations Oversight: Manage scheduling, patient communications, stock control, compliance, and POS systems.
Financial Performance: Report to the Regional Manager, monitor KPIs, and implement strategies to drive revenue.
Customer Experience: Guarantee high-quality patient care, manage reviews and feedback, and resolve complaints professionally.
Training & Development: Ensure staff are trained in Truly policies and processes; promote participation in learning programs.
Collaboration with Marketing: Work with the marketing team to boost patient acquisition and community visibility.
Requirements: Competencies & Skills
Education
Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related area (preferred).
Additional certifications in dental or healthcare practice management are an advantage.
Experience
3+ years of management experience in healthcare, dental, or service-oriented industries.
Track record in people management and business performance improvement.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Understanding of patient privacy regulations.
Experience with dental practice management software (Dentally, Exact, Carestream).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
