Clinical Nurse Manager II - Theatre Role
This exciting career opportunity is seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to take on the role of Clinical Nurse Manager II in Theatre. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining high standards of clinical practice, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources, and managing staffing levels.
* Quality Assurance: Responsible for quality assurance within their designated area(s), as well as overseeing and maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
* Staffing Management: Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence-based approach, provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership, and manage staffing levels.
* Team Development: Foster staff development, promote practice development initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the nursing team, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
* Qualifications: Registered nurse on the active Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, peri-operative qualification (desirable), postgraduate course or relevant education course (desirable), and healthcare management qualification (desirable).
* Experience: Must have 5 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, with at least two of those years being within the specialty or related area.
* Leadership Skills: Have the clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role, with experience in preceptorship (desirable) and electronic health records (desirable).
* Full-time (37.5 hours per week) position available.
