Job Description

At Brown Bag Films, our motto is simple: "We Love Animation." And we mean it - we put our artists at the heart of everything we do. As one of the most creatively driven animation studios, we are passionate about creating high-quality, engaging content for kids and families everywhere.

We are currently looking for a Production Assistant to join our talented team here at our Dublin studio.The successful candidate will provide active support for TV production ensuring information packages, visuals and notes are completed according to the project schedule.

This is a Fixed-Term, 6-Month contract based in Dublin.

Please note that our studio operates on a hybrid model, with two days per week required in the studio.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and tracking the delivery of script and song drafts.

Initiating the script asset breakdown, weighting and creating stub assets in asset management system (Flow) for validation by CG Supervisor.

Preparing and conducting script call, adding follow-up notes in Flow and episodic folder.

Preparing and distributing the record package for the record session.

Actively participating in the Visual Kick-off meeting, taking notes and ensuring follow up and cleaning up of assets in Flow.

Preparing the playlist for and conducting dailies review sessions to drive the approval of artists' submissions; prioritising content for Art Directors, following-up, sending revision notes and tracking outcomes.

Administering the storyboard process:

* Preparing visuals and handouts for storyboard artists

* Organising launch call with Episodic Director

* Tracking artist progress and raising scheduling problems with Production Manager and Episodic Director

* Delivering panels to Post-Production for the animatic phase.

Ensuring animatic revisions are implemented in line with the schedule, identifying any problems to Production Manager.

Requesting choreography where appropriate and setting deadline for delivery.

Creating conform boards for animation team.

Weekly dashboard (BART) reporting to enable the submission of the weekly client status report.

Key Requirements

Knowledge:

Good understanding of schedules and deadlines.

Project management techniques (desirable).

Experience:

Previous Production experience desirable, ideally in an animation environment.

Experienced in database work and maintaining tracking documents.

Technical skills:

Microsoft Office, in particularly Excel and Outlook.

Practical use of Photoshop and Acrobat.

Ability to use asset tracking software e.g. Autodesk's Flow
