Basic Role Summary:The Technical Trainer designs, delivers, and evaluates technical training programs to ensure employees achieve and maintain the required levels of competence in line with regulatory, quality, and safety standards. The role drives consistent capability development across manufacturing and technical teams, ensuring compliance and operational excellence within Chanelle Pharma.In this role, you will report into the Lead Technical Trainer.Location: Onsite at our facility in Loughrea.As our Technical Trainer, your key responsibilities will be as follows:Lead training readiness and compliance activities during self-inspections, internal audits, and regulatory inspections; ensure training systems meet inspection standards and that all corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) are implemented effectively.Monitor, track, and report on training compliance across all GMP areas, ensuring employees maintain required competence levels and that training records, matrices, and documentation are accurate, current, and audit-ready.Develop and implement structured, role-specific training and competency plans in partnership with line managers and subject matter experts, ensuring all employees achieve and maintain required GMP and operational standards.Plan, deliver, and evaluate refresher training programs — including GMP, Data Integrity, Manual Handling, Medical and Pharmacovigilance, and Induction — ensuring content accuracy, regulatory compliance, and training effectiveness.Identify and report training gaps or compliance issues to departmental and Quality Assurance management, ensuring timely escalation, corrective action, and closure to maintain GMP and regulatory compliance.Standardise and continuously improve on-the-job training (OJT) practices across GMP departments by developing structured methods, coaching area trainers, and applying best-practice learning principles to drive consistency and effectiveness.Provide training design and delivery support for non-GMP areas, ensuring alignment with Chanelle Pharma's overall training standards and continuous improvement principles.Own and manage GMP-related training modules including:SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) TrainingCI (Cleaning Instructions)COI (Calibration of Instruments)POI (Production Operating Instructions)Compliance Awareness (e.g., CAPAs)Represent the training function in CRB meetings and cross-functional forums related to GMP training and compliance.Qualifications and Experience:Experience working in a regulated manufacturing FDA/HPRA environment desirable but not essential.Technical training experience desirable but not essential.Train the Trainer courses desirable.Technical proficiency — understanding of operation of machinery and equipment relevant to the production process with regards to training.
