About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector, is seeking a highly motivated
National Key Account Manager
to join their Commercial Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to take ownership of key customer accounts, drive growth, and manage full P&L responsibility in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do
* Take ownership of their national account, ensuring sustained growth and profitability
* Manage full P&L for your accounts, including revenue, margin, and profitability targets
* Drive product availability, secure new listings, and execute successful product launches
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to resolve business challenges
* Plan and implement customer-specific price changes
* Manage the retail environment by coordinating merchandising support and sales communication
* Leverage marketing and category management insights to identify growth opportunities
* Build, manage, and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
* Handle customer inquiries and manage DSO/deductions in line with company policies
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years' experience in a senior commercial sales role within FMCG
* Proven success in managing key accounts and complex customer relationships
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L for multiple accounts
* Skilled influencer, negotiator, and presenter with excellent strategic thinking
* Ability to spot opportunities, develop strategy, and execute effectively
