We are seeking an experiencedEquipment Engineerto support a majorexpansion projectwith a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based inSouth Dublin.This12-month contractrole offers full-time onsite work and competitive hourly rates ofup to €50-60 per hour, depending on experience.OverviewThe successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering newsyringe fillingandsingle-use formulation equipmentas part of a high-profile site expansion initiative. The position involves leading implementation activities, supporting commissioning and validation, and ensuring the equipment meets all operational readiness and compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the expansion of an existing manufacturing facility, focusing on syringe filling and single-use formulation equipment .Lead activities related to equipment setup, calibration, functional testing, start-up, and ongoing support .Contribute to the manufacturing readiness strategy, supporting equipment qualification and validation in line with GMP and internal standards.Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, IS, EHSS, and Engineering to ensure on-time and compliant project delivery.Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) strategies and initial maintenance programs for new process equipment.Manage vendor relationships and oversee supplier deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.Travel as required to support project timelines and implementation phases.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline with 3-5+ years' experience in equipment or engineering projects.Proven background in pharmaceutical and/or medical device manufacturing is essential .Experience in formulation, filling, or syringe equipment is highly desirable .Strong understanding of quality management systems, GMP, and regulatory compliance .Excellent communication, technical writing, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.Demonstrated experience in vendor management and new technology implementation.
