Special Educational Needs Support Role
This position involves working closely with primary school students who require additional support due to special educational needs. As a dedicated member of our team, you will work in collaboration with class teachers or individual children to create an environment that fosters their development and growth.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing One-to-One Support:
* You will offer personalized assistance to students with SEND, ensuring they have equal opportunities to succeed.
* Assisting Teachers with Lesson Planning:
* Supporting classroom activities, helping teachers plan and implement effective lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND.
* Care and Support:
* You will provide personal care and support to students with physical needs, promoting their well-being and independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* DBS Clearance:
* A valid DBS clearance is essential for this role, as is your willingness to obtain one if necessary.
* Previous Experience:
* You should have prior experience working with children who have special educational needs, either on a one-to-one basis or as a general teaching assistant.
