We are currently recruiting a Registered Nurse for a leading Nursing Home in Laois.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to enhancing residents' quality of life and committed to supporting their social, physical, and mental wellbeing.
Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care, ensuring all clinical needs of residents are consistently met and monitored.
Develop, update, and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Support, mentor, and guide care assistants and junior nursing staff to maintain high clinical standards.
Administer medications safely and accurately in full compliance with policies, protocols, and documentation requirements.
Maintain open and clear communication with residents' families, addressing questions and keeping them informed about their loved one's care.
Assist with supervising shifts to ensure effective staff allocation and smooth day-to-day operations.
Promote a safe environment by adhering to policies, infection control procedures, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Requirements A licensed NMBI-pined registered nurse (RN).
A minimum of two years of post-registration experience in an Irish nursing setting, preferably working in a nursing home or providing substantial senior care.
