We are looking for a highly skilled specialist in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to support, enhance, and scale our IBP environment across Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Control Tower modules.This role is critical to enabling our end-to-end S&OP/IBP and S&OE cycles. The ideal candidate combines deep technical IBP expertise with a strong understanding of supply chain planning, data governance and architecture, and analytics. The person will serve as the bridge between the business and our technical teams, ensuring system stability, data reliability, and process excellence.This is a hands-on, high-visibility role working closely with Supply Chain & Ops, Commercial, Finance and IT.If you want to have a positive impact whilst working alongside brilliant people, then read on…..Scope of the RoleSAP IBP Technical OwnershipManage, configure, and optimise SAP IBP Demand, Supply, and Control Tower.Maintain and enhance planning areas, time profiles, planning levels, master data types, and key figures.Troubleshoot system issues, job failures, integration errors, and performance bottlenecks.Lead regression testing and deployment of transport requests.Ensure reliability and consistency of statistical forecast runs.Data & Integration ManagementOwn data flows between IBP and connected systems (SAP ECC, Adaptive, Power BI, EDW, Manual).Ensure accuracy and timeliness of master data (products, customers, resources, locations).Partner with IT/Data teams to monitor and correct integration failures.Develop and maintain data validation routines to ensure data readiness for each IBP and S&OE cycles.Business Process EnablementSupport the monthly IBP cycle and weekly S&OE cycle with reliable system outputs.Translate business process requirements into IBP configuration or enhancements.Support demand planners with statistical forecast settings, attributes, and segmentation.Support supply planners with constraint modelling, resource configuration, and heuristic optimisation.Reporting & AnalyticsMaintain and enhance Control Tower dashboards, alerts, and planning views.Troubleshoot Power BI and other reporting issues linked to IBP data.Drive data quality improvements and KPI calculation accuracy.Key User & Stakeholder SupportAct as the primary point of contact for IBP users across clusters and functions.Train and develop planners on best practices and new features.Provide day-to-day support for demand & supply planners during key cycles.Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure alignment of data definitions and reporting.Continuous ImprovementDrive system enhancements and roadmap alignment with the IBP/S&OE strategy.Evaluate and implement best practices across planning functions.Leverage automation and simplification opportunities to reduce manual work.Experience RequiredMust-Have Technical Skills4 plus years working with SAP IBP (Demand + Supply + Control Tower).Experience with:Planning Area configurationTime series modellingStatistical forecastingHeuristics and algorithmsSupply propagation and peggingVersions & scenariosAlerts and Control Tower setupIntegration with CIDS SAP or similarStrong SQL/data analysis skills.Good understanding of supply chain planning processes (demand → supply → capacity → inventory).Must-Have Business SkillsAbility to translate business requirements into system logic.Skilled in analysing supply chain data, identifying root causes, and proposing technical solutions.Experience working with forecasting, capacity planning, or production planning.Strong communicator able to challenge, influence, and educate cross-functional teams.PreferredExperience with S&OP/IBP process governance.Exposure to financial planning tools data.Knowledge of SAP ECC master data structures.BenefitsWe believe our people are our greatest asset.
