Job Title: Operations Excellence Manager IRL
Location: Castlebar/Drogheda
Reporting To: Operations Lead IRL
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
2. Methodology Application: Utilize methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement techniques.
3. Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leaders, and other stakeholders to implement successful changes and drive results.
5. Training and Development: Develop and deliver training on new processes and methodologies to ensure adoption and sustainability.
6. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of implemented changes and continuously improve processes based on data and feedback.
7. Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful implementation of new processes and systems.
8. Hoshin/Strategy Deployment: Facilitate top-down initiatives into defined projects across plant footprint; train Plant Managers and CI Managers to cascade into their sites.
9. Program Maintenance: Maintain overall program, report writing, and project tracking.
Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies, along with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
* Ability to drive the right behaviors through a systematic approach, setting teams up for success.
Education:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
* Proven track record in Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement roles.
* Experience leading/supporting PDCA, DMAIC problem-solving, project management, and facilitating kaizen events.
