An opportunity has arisen to join our Quality team for a fixed term one year contract. We are seeking to recruit a Quality Administrator to work in our exceptional facilities in Mullingar. Job Details (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
The key aspect to this role is to support the company in an administration capacity which incorporates both production and quality function.

The key responsibilities for this role include:
* Responsible for general administration tasks.
* Responsible for carrying out chemical, microbiological, packaging and sensory analysis as defined by the quality system.
* Accountable for the correct set up, calibration and verification of all quality instruments.
* Investigation of complaints and analysis and compilation of reports.
* Compiling, trending and communication of quality reports.
* Maintenance and development of BRC and other relevant site standards.
* Manage site internal audit schedules, recording of non-conformances, identifying root cause and implementation of Corrective and Preventive actions.
* Drive continuous improvement and best practices and provide first class level of service.
Person Detail
The ideal candidate for this role, must have excellent time management skills and fine attention to detail. You must be computer literate and have the ability to build good working relationships with a wide range of people.
* An individual with a minimum 12 months experience within a food manufacturing is desirable.
* A Diploma in food science or related discipline.
* Keen attention to detail with quality conscious mindset.
* Self-motivated and able to work on own initiate
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Ability to adapt and be flexible according to the business requirements
Essential Criteria
* Recognised Science qualification and have gained substantial quality assurance experience within the food or drinks sector or similar
* Working knowledge of HACCP and Quality Systems combined with good IT skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with strong planning and organisational ability.
