The role
Major Incident Manager
Day rate contract - €350 per day
6 month rolling contract
4*10 hour shifts Saturday - Tuesday (On an ad-hoc basis Thursday to Sunday)
We are looking for a Major Incident Manager to lead the response and resolution of high-impact IT incidents affecting critical business services. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage major incidents through to resolution.
Coordinate technical teams to restore services and minimise business impact.
Provide clear updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Maintain incident records, recovery plans, and business impact assessments.
Work closely with Change and Problem Management teams.
Conduct incident triage and support continuous service improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
Experience in Major Incident Management or IT Service Operations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
Strong understanding of incident management processes and service delivery.
