About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Graduate Engineer with 1‑2 years of relevant experience to join our technical team based at our Dublin Airport offices. The successful candidate will support the engineering function across a range of activities, including technical support, regulatory compliance, documentation control, and project delivery.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the LPG industry, working with experienced engineers and regulatory bodies such as the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support to internal teams and customers on LPG systems, installations, and operational queries.
* Assist in ensuring compliance with Irish and EU regulations, standards, and industry codes of practice.
* Maintain and update technical documentation, including design manuals, safety procedures, and technical drawings.
* Support liaison and reporting to regulatory bodies (HSA, CRU, local authorities).
* Participate in engineering and capital projects, including design input, contractor management, and commissioning support.
* Assist with site inspections and audits, ensuring adherence to safety and engineering standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation, and technical innovation.
* Undertake training and professional development towards chartered engineer status, supported by the company.
* Execute additional ad hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, energy, or process engineering (or a related discipline) and have up to two years’ experience in an engineering or technical role, ideally within the energy, utilities, or process industries. They will demonstrate a strong grasp of engineering principles, technical drawings, and safety systems, along with an understanding of relevant Irish safety and regulatory frameworks such as HSA, CRU, and EN standards.
Highly organised and analytical, they will possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic CAD or similar design tools. A full, clean driving licence is required, as occasional travel to customer or project sites may be necessary. Experience in LPG, gas, or fuel systems, along with familiarity with pressure systems regulations, DSEAR/ATEX requirements, project engineering, or ISO management systems, would be a distinct advantage.
